To monitor, investigate and report product related matters to ALJACS management/suppliers for improvement, set up quality criteria/standards, ensure effective implementation of quality standards and procedure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Measures/evaluates suppliers’ performance through comprehensive monitoring of product quality, technical support, supplier compliance and response to technical needs for modifications/enhancements.
Ø Tests and evaluates products during development stage putting any necessary safety, durability and serviceability concerns/requirements into workable remarks for improvement.
Ø Setting the material receiving quality criteria with R & D and supplier and ensures criteria compliance during goods’ receiving.
Ø Designs training plans for production staff to perform products’ installations as per standards and recommendations of CADD, R&D and suppliers.
Ø Confirms installations quality and adherence to installation instructions/procedures in the installation manual reporting any deviation to production and ALJACS management for counter measures.
Ø Organizes Kaizen activities to improve any quality related issues in the product life.
Ø Collects, organizes and distributes publications related to product such as installation manuals, technical information, service bulletins and others.
Ø Designs and liaises with training centre the training need of the sales and after sales associates for products’ installations, maintenance and trouble shooting.
Ø Establishes reliable system to identify products technical problem and report to ALJACS and suppliers recommending remedial action for improvement.
Ø Establishes high tech service to assist after sales service in solving technical problems.
Ø Audits warranty activities in after sales services to ensure guest delight, and the integrity of the repair according to company regulations.
Ø Launches and follows-up implementation of Service Campaign whenever necessary to contain a technical problem that will affect the end user safety and/or satisfaction.
Ø Follows-up processing of conformity certificates with SASO.
Ø Carries new models compliance test with TMC survey teams.
Ø Handles customer complaint regarding product.
Ø Administers implementation of warranty policy and procedures.
Ø Ensures smooth processing of warranty claims.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years related experience in quality assurance/control, knowledge in automotive service field is a must. Some background in electronics, tooling/jigs/fixtures/moulds/dies design and manufacturing and statistics is essential.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Knowledge of Arabic and other language is an advantage.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as analysis of variance, and factor analysis.
Ability to define problems, collect and consolidate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
