I have a 3 month contract with a possible extension based in Lagos Nigeria.

They are looking to pay $8000USD per month.

Our customer in Nigeria is looking for a Service Operations Architect for a very large Sun Client.

The role will provide domain expertise to the partner for the technical implementation of the IT governance framework ITIL at the end client. Specifically, the Operations Architect will provide solution design for IT service management. While IT service management focuses on the conceptual design of the IT service, this Operations Architecture role will focus on the technical practicalities of implementing IT service management allowing for the ongoing support and management of IT services infrastructure of the enterprise network .

The IT infrastructure and telecom enterprise network typically comprise many different systems and platforms, often in different geographic locations. The Operations Architecture will ensure that these systems perform as expected by centrally unifying the control of operational procedures and automating the execution of operational tasks. The Operations Architect role will also report on the performance of the IT infrastructure.

This engagement has been scoped to provide a highly skilled ITIL/ITSM Operations Architect. The overall scope encompasses:
- ITIL/ITSM expertise to the engagement using Industry standards and best-practices, and uses this ITSM best practices to develop SLA's, OLA's and Underpinning Contracts;
- Expert knowledge of complex service delivery to meet SLA levels.
- Early warning on potential non-performance issues
- Single point of contact for report back to customer in measuring SLA performance
- Translating customers requirements and MS-Onsite team expectations in clear measurable service levels and objectives
- Subject matter expertise with Sun's processes and best practices
- Pulling together cross-delivery teams (i.e. Professional Services, Managed Services, Support Services etc, cross-practice)
- Due diligence in pre-sales phase, setting up the engagement to understand an document customer requirements for successful delivery
- Implementation management during the most critical stages of deployment
- Proper and timely resourcing for implementation and on-going delivery
- Driving continuous service improvement plans within the customer organization and MS delivery team.
